Job Description: Data and Integration Engineer

We’re hiring an experienced data and integration engineer who is looking for new challenges at a fast-growing and passionate early stage start-up, backed by leading healthcare investors.

As a Data and Integration Engineer, you will work closely with our entire team: application engineering, services, account management and quality assurance. In addition to informing decisions surrounding the automation of technology processes, your primary responsibility will be building the integrations that move data into a next generation cloud-based platform. Utilizing a precise attention to detail and inquisitive attitude when it comes to data analysis, you will interface with our customers and partners to define new data points, create adaptors and performance optimize data intake touch points. Additionally, in this role, you will explore our data set to develop insights into customer behavior and make discoveries that can be incorporated into a quickly evolving product platform.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop data intake adaptors in C#
  • Quality control client data feeds for accuracy, anomaly and conformance with intake specifications
  • Develop data mapping guides and document new integrations
  • Help develop queries and reports to meet client and organizational needs
  • Participate in client facing meetings regarding data intake and data specification
  • Participate actively in code review
  • Master of our system data structures and advise application engineering as changes are made to our platform
  • Learn, teach, and select technologies that will meet growing business and system requirements.

  • Care about consumer privacy, help ensure compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years proven success in a healthcare enterprise implementation, integration or data analysis role
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft C# and T-SQL and SQL Server
  • Experience using Git
  • Experience and working knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Self-starter with a healthy competitive drive to succeed and an ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
