Leveraging a deep background in academic research, Kumar began his healthcare career working on semantic web technology for standardizing and sharing healthcare data. He has spent his career leading highly effective implementations for population health and patient care navigation platforms, supporting clients from early planning stages all the way through to Go-live. Prior to joining Upfront, Kumar led product implementation at The Advisory Board. He holds a Masters in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from the University of Illinois Chicago.
