Ryan Royal is the Chief Technology Officer at Upfront. A seasoned technologist for more than two decades, Ryan has served in a leadership capacity for a number of startup and early-stage growth companies scaling engineering teams, driving product innovation, and spearheading digital transformation in industries including healthcare.
Ryan previously served as CTO at interviewstream, providing product and technology leadership behind a number of SaaS-based product lines. Prior to interviewstream, he served as a CTO at CellTrak Technologies, where he spearheaded a $7 million investment to re-platform an aged technology stack and introduce automation.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from St. Ambrose University. Beyond his technology career, Ryan is an avid golfer and woodworker crafting high-end custom furniture. He is based in Chicago.
